Yoojung Hong is an artist and art educator based between New York and Seoul, working across stop-motion animation, painting, and drawing. Her work explores moments that hover between overwhelm and stillness, images, gestures, or spaces that feel too much, too quiet, or too strange to fully grasp. Through analog and digital processes, she reassembles these sensations into slightly off-balanced, fragmented worlds that blur the line between the tactile and the imagined. Rooted in storytelling and material curiosity, her practice often transforms personal instincts into shared emotional landscapes.
